Part-Time Dietitian Opportunity - Arbour Hospital - Quincy

The dietitian, in collaboration with dietary services, acts as a resource to dietary staff to ensure delivery of a nutrition care program in accordance with standards established by Arbour. Appropriately identifies patients at nutrition risk. Assesses diet order based on patient's age, current Effectively utilizes the medical record to obtain pertinent objective data. Accurately assess physical limitations which may compromise nutritional status. Accurately calculates metabolic needs, i.e., energy protein, fluid, and/or other specific nutrients. Recommends appropriate nutrition intervention based on subjective and objective data. Completely follows through on recommendations made i.e., communication to physician, nutrition staff, nursing. Assesses patients based on religious, cultural, and ethnic preferences. Accurately documents the initial and ongoing assessment of patient's nutritional status and progress as determined by chart review. Documents in a concise manner that reflects the problem, patient needs and goals, learning capabilities/limitations, and progress toward established goals.

Requirements Masters degree in Dietetics/Nutrition or related field required. Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) in MA required One to three years of experience as a Clinical Dietitian required.
