Registered Nurse (RN)

Working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in home care will not only give you flexibility but also be fulfilling. Registered Nurses will provide patient care under the direction of the patient’s primary care physician. The clinical staff will work alongside you to ensure our patients are getting the care they deserve. Responsibilities Complete Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) for patients; this is a collection of data from our clients to help us generate an individualized plan of care – training will be provided if you are not familiar with this. Administration of medications by setting up pill planners. Educating patients and/or caregivers on disease process and medications, documenting their response. Completing lab draws and completing patient assessment. Supervision of other care team members. Collaborating with the care team and physician for any patient needs. Communicating with the office staff on schedule changes and any patient issues. Keeping up to date with all mandated requirements including CPR, in‑service training, nursing license, and valid driver’s license. Basic computer knowledge; our electronic medical system is AloraPlus – we will teach you if you are not familiar with this program.
