Job Description

Duties: Perform comprehensive dental cleanings including scaling polishing and fluoride treatments. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories vital signs and current dental conditions. Assist the dentist during procedures and operate dental equipment safely including X-rays. Educate patients on oral hygiene preventive care and post-treatment care. Maintain patient records in Dentrix Ascend EHR system adhering to HIPAA. Manage infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Experience: Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office environment. Proficiency with EHR systems like Dentrix Ascend. Knowledge of general and pediatric dentistry practices preferred.
