Your Role – What You Will Accomplish

• Conduct both routine and specialized laboratory tests across multiple disciplines such as chemistry, hematology, and microbiology, all while adhering to established safety protocols.
• Evaluate laboratory test results for correctness, address discrepancies with diligence, and conduct ongoing maintenance and calibration of diagnostic equipment.
• Assist with the collection of specimens as needed and prepare samples to ensure their readiness for testing.
• Keep meticulous records of procedures conducted, provide training to new hires and students, and maintain the highest quality standards of laboratory services.
• Uphold a safe and sanitary working environment in compliance with health regulations and standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or a closely related field, or possess a suitable equivalent allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• Achieve ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within your first year of employment.
• Ensure that your professional certification remains current throughout the duration of your employment.
