Travel Registered Nurse – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Progressive Care Unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Administer medications, manage blood transfusions, and provide respiratory support including BiPAP/CPAP and heated high-flow therapy
• Deliver post-surgical care and monitor patient recovery progress
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and PCTs across night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Meditech EMR

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PCU experience (2 years preferred)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Demonstrated proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Experience in a leadership or relief charge nurse role
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
