Job Description

Waste Technician – Hiring ASAP!

Location: Miramar Beach, FL
Pay: $18.00/hr.
Schedule: 7a-330p Monday-Friday every other weekend

We are looking for a reliable Waste Technician to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. This role is essential to supporting patients, visitors, and medical staff by ensuring waste is properly collected, handled, and disposed of.

What You’ll Do:

Collect and transport waste throughout the facility
Dispose of trash and medical waste following safety guidelines
Maintain clean and sanitary waste collection areas
Replace waste bags and containers as needed
Follow proper infection-control and safety procedures
Handle waste safely and efficiently
Report spills, damaged containers, or safety concerns
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For:

Previous housekeeping, environmental services, or waste management experience is a plus
Reliable and hardworking
Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a background check
Ability to pass a drug screen
Authorized to work in the U.S.
