Pediatrician

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for providing primary health care to center patients within the structure of the family practice model; in addition, serves on committees, discharges administrative responsibilities, attends departmental meetings; participates in night and weekend on-call coverage rotation. Will assume teaching responsibilities as assigned; assures professional supervision of Nurse Practitioners, Midwives or Physician Assistant provider personnel, including professional interaction with provider support personnel. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from an accredited medical school. Must have Board Certification. Current New York State license is required. Must also have current BLS and infection control certifications. Must have a current DEA Registration. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ambulatory – 95% Sedentary- 5% Subject to stress and Fatigue. Requires manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination when working with patients and equipment. Subject to repeated bending, squatting and stooping.
