Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Waters Corporation seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the site-level manufacturing engineering organization supporting complex instrumentation production. The role encompasses process execution, equipment readiness, tooling development, team management, and operational performance while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include manufacturing support, process improvement, capital equipment implementation, and technical issue resolution.

Responsibilities

Lead manufacturing engineering team supporting production operations and technical issue resolution
Drive manufacturing readiness, new product transfers, and process improvement initiatives
Partner with operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets
Manage capital equipment selection, qualification, and implementation projects
Ensure compliance with quality systems, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

Requirements

Manufacturing engineering leadership experience managing technical teams
Knowledge of complex instrumentation or medical device manufacturing
Proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience with regulated manufacturing environments and quality systems
Expertise in process documentation, validation, and change control
Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
