Our continued success thrives on the attraction and retention of spirited people who share our passion for service. Responsibilities Perform repairs to customer vehicles and trailers. Perform basic welding functions. Inform customer or manager of completion times, service expenses, and possible changes. Monitor profit/loss of each job to maximize profitability while maintaining quality and minimize warranty claims and re‑work. Submit work orders for invoicing. Maintain inventory and supplies. Prepare list of required replacement parts. Clean work area and maintain equipment; adhere to environmental, health and safety standards. Qualifications Two to five years of diesel mechanic (truck) experience in the heavy‑duty industry (apprenticeship 2+ years). Registered license or apprentice 310T / 310J with skilled trades in Ontario. Own tools or willingness to purchase tools as skill level and responsibilities advance. Ability to lift parts up to 50+ lbs. Valid G‑class driver’s license and/ or AZ with a good driving record. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift, pull and move heavy truck parts that may exceed 50 lb. Can walk, bend, twist, step, stoop, reach, lift, and push throughout the day. Work Environment Exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, noise and temperature variations. Work performed in a vehicle repair setting. #J-18808-Ljbffr TruckPro LLC
