Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct individualized therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to deliver tailored treatment plans that cater to each client's unique needs.

  • Perform thorough assessments and evaluations to establish a comprehensive understanding of the client's mental health history, goals, and challenges.

  • Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

  • Facilitate group sessions, family counseling, and couples therapy, focusing on developing positive interpersonal skills and enhancing relational dynamics.

  • Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

  • Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training, and staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working primarily with individuals and families from diverse social and cultural backgrounds, many of whom may have limited access to mental health resources. Your role as an LPC is to create a safe and respectful environment where clients can openly discuss their issues, seek guidance, and work collaboratively towards achieving their therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

  • Possession of active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • A minimum of two years of relevant counseling experience, with a strong preference for candidates with clinical practice backgrounds.

  • Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and effective documentation practices.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect with a wide range of clientele and promote positive therapeutic outcomes.

  • A demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a healthcare team while contributing to the overall well-being of clients.

  • Competitive annual salary range of $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and availability.
