About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with medical device product development experience to support electronic product development, end-of-life activities, design updates, verification testing, and product improvements. The role will work closely with R&D, Operations, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical lead for electronic product development and end-of-life activities.
• Develop solutions for existing product design and engineering issues.
• Support design updates, product improvements, and new product development.
• Apply medical device design controls and support verification testing.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Use engineering tools such as DOE and SPC to analyze and improve products.
• Support product development documentation and technical requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 5 10 years of experience in medical device design/development.
• Strong experience with medical device design controls.
• Product development experience within the medical device industry.
• Experience developing and verifying electronic medical equipment with embedded firmware.
• Working knowledge of FDA 21 CFR 820.30 and ISO 9001.
• Working knowledge of IEC 60601-1.
• Experience supporting verification testing and product testing.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, and cross-functional skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Operational experience supporting New Product Development.
• Experience with product improvements and R&D-to-manufacturing activities.
