DC Materials Handler - Quality Assurance

Compensation Pay Range: $22.65 - $26.65. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Perform a wide variety of job functions associated with maintaining inventory integrity and improving efficiencies throughout the distribution center. Perform order adjustments (repicks). Monitor, research, and resolve allocation issues in the Problem Resolution (Orders) program. Perform inventory transfers and adjustments as needed. Print and apply location label requests. Request repair and replacement of RF and Vocollect units. Review and research various reports. Research inventory discrepancies and explain large quantity on hand adjustments. Process stray parts and perform related job functions. Research and correct item numbers and locations in the LogPro Quantity Correction program. Audit outbound parcels and inbound license plates daily and verify results. Perform daily audits and reconcile all items in damage locations. Conduct relabel and changeover projects, including processing items in the "relabel" location. Execute slotting jobs determined by the DC and the Slotting Task Force Leader. Maintain correct rule sets and assignments. Help maintain accurate dimensional data. Ensure safe weight on beams. Execute Factory Stock Adjustments, Factory Stock Lifts, Final Sweeps, and Recalls. Perform daily cycle counts of select Freon item numbers. Conduct a monthly inventory of critical supply items. Cycle count each DC location at least once per trimester and perform a Return Department Verification each quarter. Assist in maintaining ship percentage with on hand and DC shrink goals. Keep all work areas neat, clean, and free of spills. Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations. Might serve as a trainer, taking ownership of the DC target training program and ensuring training is conducted according to schedule. Explain specific job duties/functions to new team members and convey departmental procedural changes to existing team members. Perform all other duties as assigned. Required Skills and Experience Basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately. Desired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Familiarity with auto parts and knowledge of the automotive warehouse and/or store industry. Working knowledge of WMS operation systems and DC operations. Advanced computer skills. Mechanical Equipment certification. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
