CT Technologist Position

Location: Irving, Texas, USA

Job Type: Full-time (Permanent)

Required Experience:

• ARRT Certification
• At least 1 year of experience in CT Technologist role
• Texas State License (TX License)
• ARRT (CT) Certification

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality CT procedures as per established protocols.
• Maintain production and quality standards for imaging procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort, explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Prepare patient and area for procedure by positioning patients and adjusting equipment.
• Adhere to safety and infection-control policies, maintaining hand hygiene requirements.
• Maintain and monitor medical imaging records and equipment.
• Ensure correct documentation is maintained, including patient history and consent forms.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, and medical staff.

Education:

• Required: Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Preferred: Continued education in CT technologies.

Certifications:

• Required: ARRT (CT) Certification.
• Required: Texas State License.

Special Skills:

• Ability to perform CT procedures autonomously.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle stress.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with patients.
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and radiation protection protocols.
