Senior Project Manager

Senior Project ManagerStratus is searching for a seasoned Senior Project Manager for our Education Team responsible for the development of production drawings and specifications from programming and schematic design, through construction document and permitting phases. The perfect candidate will be able to manage a series of projects at various stages of work.ResponsibilitiesLead and take full ownership of architectural projects from concept through construction, ensuring successful delivery across scope, schedule, and budget.Serve as the primary client contact, guiding decision-making, communicating design vision, and building strong, long-term relationships.Direct and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and high-performance project delivery.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align design solutions with project goals, timelines, and financial targets.Ensure all designs and documentation comply with building, life safety, and zoning codes, as well as established construction document standards.Oversee the production and quality of construction documents and technical deliverables across all project phases.Lead projects involving adaptive reuse, renovations, and building expansions, applying advanced technical expertise.Develop and deliver clear, compelling presentations and visual communications to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.Manage contracts with owners and subconsultants, ensuring compliance and alignment with project objectives.Lead proposal development, scope definition, and fee negotiations to support project acquisition.Oversee project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and project accounting.Coordinate and manage subconsultants to ensure seamless integration of all project disciplines.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Architecture15+ years of professional experience in architecture, including leadership of complex projectsExperience with adaptive reuse, renovations, and complex building typesProficiency in design and documentation tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative SuiteWhy you'll love StratusA team-oriented environment that values transparency, creativity, and shared successMeaningful career paths, leadership opportunities, and space to specializeLearning & Development – Education and Professional LicensingExcellent Health Care Programs – Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceCompany-paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term DisabilityVoluntary Life Insurance options for employees, spouses, and dependents401k Retirement Plan with employer matchPaid Holidays & Competitive PTO plans
