Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

As a vital member of the interdisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse (RN) contributes professional and clinical knowledge and skills in providing and managing care for patients. The role may include floating within the same discipline across various local locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients, focusing on nephrology.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient assessments and coordinate care plans.
• Document patient care activities and responses accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Participate in staff training and orientation as required.

Shift Details

Start time: 0800, with a schedule of 5 consecutive days, totaling 9-hour shifts. There are no weekend or on-call requirements.

Orientation Schedule

Orientation will take place every Monday.

Additional Information

• Travelers may be required to work during at least one or two holidays during the summer.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of previous nephrology experience.
• Experience with electronic medical record systems, particularly EPIC.
• Current state nursing license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must not have been employed in the last 12 months.
• Candidate must be located at least 50 miles from the facility.
