PT Assistant, PRN

Valley View Nursing and Rehabilitation located in Boise, ID is seeking a committed and patient-focused PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to treat patients recovering or maintaining daily living and work skills. The role supports bedside care in a health care setting, enabling patients to confidently and independently carry out everyday tasks or activities. Job Details Location: Boise, Idaho 83704 Job Type: PRN Shift: Any Responsibilities Deliver client-centered services to support patients in recovering or maintaining daily living skills. Assist patients with exercises and physical therapy interventions as part of the PT team. Support staff in providing the highest quality resident care and maintaining a positive community reputation. Participate in orientation and required health screenings, including TB testing and drug testing, as mandated by company policy. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum one (1) year experience working with adults in a health care setting preferred. Current and active state license or registration in the licensed state. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English sufficiently to perform required duties; bi-lingual skills welcome. Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English. Physical demands: frequently move about the facility, assist patients with exercises, and evacuate residents during emergencies. Work environment: flexible hours, possible overtime, work holidays; able to work in clinical settings with ill, disabled, elderly, and emotionally upset individuals. Must undergo health screening, TB test if required, drug test within 90 days, criminal background check, and provide identity/eligibility evidence within 3 days of hire.
