Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Dialysis Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in providing hemodialysis treatment to patients with renal failure. The Dialysis Nurse will be responsible for assessing patients, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and ensuring the proper functioning of dialysis equipment. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to provide emotional support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments of patients prior to, during, and after dialysis treatment.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust treatment parameters as necessary.
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids according to physician orders.
• Set up and operate hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis machines, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
• Educate patients and their families about dialysis treatment procedures, dietary restrictions, and medication management.
• Monitor patients for any signs of complications or adverse reactions during dialysis treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and answering any questions related to dialysis treatment.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience working as a Dialysis Nurse.
• Proficiency in operating hemodialysis dialysis machines.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
