Job Summary and Responsibilities Virginia Mason Franciscan Health (VMFH) brings together two award winning health systems in Washington State, CHI Franciscan and Virginia Mason Medical Center, as one integrated health system with the most patient access points in western Washington. We have an opportunity for a 1.0 FTE Cardiologist who will practice at our Auburn and Federal Way locations. This Cardiologist will be part of the Franciscan Medical Group multi‑specialty practice serving the greater South Puget Sound region of Washington State. Opportunity Highlights Center for Cardiovascular Health : The Center for Cardiovascular Health at VMFH encompasses over 150 providers, including interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, advanced heart failure specialists, cardiac imaging specialists, vascular surgeons, thoracic surgeons, cardiac surgeons and anesthesiologists, among other specialists. Our programs have achieved significant recognition within the region and nationally for our quality and outcomes. We are a high volume program performing over 1100 open heart surgeries, 2400 PCIs and 2000 ablations annually. We provide care for over 200,000 patients in our cardiology clinics annually and provide inpatient services for our healthcare system that includes over 1500 beds and 8 hospitals in the Greater Seattle Area. Compensation Range : $497,000 - $630,000/year Job Requirements BC/BE; American Board of Cardiology. 2+ years experience in cardiology preferred. Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WA Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority required for the specific practice.
