In this role, you would be responsible for supporting the HR Managers and Director in all aspects of the department (recruitment, training, employee relations), as well as overseeing and/or facilitating various special projects independently. Serves as the principal liaison between the community and the corporate office for HR related issues (benefits, Workday, payroll). Plays a key role in workforce administration and often serves as the primary contact for newly hired employees.What We OfferCompensation: $23.00 -$28.00 per hour, based on experience.A culture of diversity, inclusion, equity and belonging, which builds on our mission, vision and valuesMedical, dental and vision packages, including an annual reimbursement for qualified wellness expenses, personal health coaching and telemedicine optionsPTO Plans, PLUS company paid volunteer hours for eligible team members, in accordance with applicable state law401k for all team members 18 and over with a company 3% matchOnsite medical centers, providing wellness visits and sick care for all team members over 18 years of ageEducation assistance, certification reimbursement, and access to over 6,000 courses through our online learning library, designed to enhance your current skills and build new onesGrowth Opportunities – grow with the company as we open new communities and expand on our existing ones!How You Will Make An ImpactCoordinate and monitor benefits plans for health, EAP, tuition reimbursement, and retirement programs.Develop and/or implement community-specific employee communication to enhance the understanding and appreciation of benefits programsParticipate in recruitment activities (i.e., career fairs, college fairs, open houses, etc.)Serves as the principal contact for newly hired employees, including processing new hire paperwork, coordinating required medical testing, inputting background checks to appropriate agencies, and ensuring compliance to government and organization recordkeeping requirements.Provide consultative end-user transaction processing guidance in systems such as Workday and UKGCoordinate and/or facilitate staff development programs, including new employee orientationAssists in responding to employee relations issues in partnership with the appropriate line manager/supervisor.Enter employment-related transaction data into the Workday system from source documents during the new hire/recruitment processMaintains electronic employee filesCompletes special projects as assigned.May organize campus Benefits Fair as an introduction for Open Enrollment.Assists with all-staff monthly meetings.May perform timecard audit reporting and follow-up, order office supplies, and coordinate drug screening as needed.May enter employment-related transaction data into the Workday system from source documents during the new hire/recruitment process and serve as primary liaison between Workday division and the community.What You Will NeedMinimum of 1 year of HR-related experience or equivalent educationExperience with an HRIS program, Workday preferredPHR or SHRM (CP) certification desirableProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and ExcelOutstanding verbal and interpersonal communication skillsPlease note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable.
