We are dedicated to being the leader in the application and design of innovative services, fostering new partnerships in the community, promoting excellence in the delivery of care for residents and staff, by anticipating and embracing the ever changing needs of the community we serve.Registered Nurse, RN utilizes the nursing process in the care of designated Residents, administers medications & treatments to residents, & documents appropriately on assigned nursing unitRegistered Nurse, RN reports findings of ongoing observations/assessments to the designated Charge Nurse, Nursing Supervisor, &/or Unit ManagerRegistered Nurse, RN demonstrates knowledge of basic test/lab collection values, deliver direct resident care consistent with the policies/procedures & Resident Bill of Rights, in combination with demonstrated clinical skills/knowledgeRegistered Nurse, RN will identify/respond timely to patient concerns/needsRegistered Nurse, RN will demonstrate effective interpersonal skills necessary to ensure appropriate quality patient carePrepare resident assignments considering the category of needs of the patient & competency of personnel, monitor/evaluate the flow of activity & delivery of patient care provided (positioning, bathing, etc.) & assure documentation records (ADLs, meal intake, etc.) are completed for CNAsIs punctual and/or provides proper notification for lateness or absenteeismGraduate of an approved school of nursingLicensed & registered in good standing in New York State as an RNExperience with geriatric patients is desirable, but not requiredSincere desire to work with the elderly, chronically ill, & disabledPossess a spirit of cooperation & enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation & growthKnowledge of medical, social, & psychological needs of residents, general nursing theory & practice, & infection prevention principles/methodsAbility to communicate well verbally with residents, families, & staffCovid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but NOT MANDATED ; we continue to offer COVID-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from CDCWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer, celebrate diversity, & are committed to creating an inclusive work environment for all!
