Registered Nurse

Position/Specialty: MS/Tele RN Shifts available are 3x12s, Nights. Ratios are 1:5-6. Every other weekend is required. No on-call requirement. Floating may be necessary within scope to meet facility needs. First-timers are accepted. All RTO must be included at the time of submission. Approval for RTO will be based on facility needs. Facility is allowed to call off one shift per two weeks. Telemetry competency is required. Previous charge experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Type of facility is an acute care hospital with 286 staffed beds. Scrub color is royal blue. Charting system utilized is Epic. During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. Travelers should ensure assignments are not confirmed during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All labs are to be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of start, or at least two weeks prior to the hard document due date. Modules are non-billable, with an average of four hours spent on them. Module hours are included in NBO hours and completed pre-start. Modules are reported by facility. Only candidates with SC license in hand will be prioritized. Candids with pending licenses will still be considered if proof of application is provided. Traveler will not be cleared to report to the facility until the SC license is issued and active. If a candidate has seven days or less of non-holiday RTO, they may be auto offered. Any RTO exceeding seven days or including holidays will need submission for facility approval. Only one unit/campus may be submitted to at a time. All candidates must be separated from the system for one year before returning as a traveler.

Experience: 2 Years License: SC License or Compact License must be in hand prior to start Certifications: BLS Required; ACLS Required; NIH Preferred Must-Have: - Tele competency required - Previous charge experience preferred - Community hospital experience preferred
