Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift 3x12.0This is a 13-week contract position.ScheduleNight Shift (3x12 hours)Job DescriptionThe Registered Nurse (RN) maintains the delivery of quality care by assuring the nursing care plan is followed. The RN supervises Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants, ensuring safe and effective patient care in alignment with the organization's commitment to safety and quality. This role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to safety protocols in a supportive work environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to establish individualized care plans.Identify teaching needs and set goals related to patient diagnoses in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.Provide timely patient information for team meetings and document all interventions and patient responses accurately in the medical record.Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and prioritize patient education based on assessed healthcare needs.Initiate discharge planning upon admission and begin patient teaching in anticipation of discharge.Communicate changes in patient status to all relevant care providers to support interdisciplinary continuity of care.Support and supervise ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring effective delegation and time management.Contribute positively to unit dynamics by fostering a calm and collaborative environment.Assist in maintaining supplies and equipment for optimal patient care delivery.Engage in professional development and continuing education to enhance nursing practice.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureCurrent RN licensure required.BLS certification required prior to the first shift.ACLS certification required (CIRH only) prior to the first shift.Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience preferred.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
