This inpatient facility operates as part of a large health system and is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage. The facility is situated in a rural setting in South Carolina and supports a combination of clinic and call responsibilities. Clinical workflows are structured to facilitate continuous obstetric and gynecologic patient care delivery across all assigned coverage areas.

Clinicians on assignment will find year-round recreational and leisure opportunities across diverse settings throughout the state.
About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will provide obstetric and gynecologic coverage through 24-hour call shifts at an on-site inpatient facility in South Carolina, with clinic hours beginning at 9:00 AM and the last appointment scheduled around 4:15-4:30 PM. Midwives take first call, and clinicians can expect to round on 1-4 inpatients per day, manage an average of 1-3 surgical cases daily, and see 15-25 patients in clinic. Full-time coverage is sought, and clinicians must be prepared to work independently in a rural facility setting. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required for this assignment.
