Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Analyst / Test Analyst to support the modernization of MGCB's legacy desktop applications, transitioning technologies such as VB6 and .NET 3.5 to a modern web-based platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on business and system requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing for web applications.
- Review requirements to ensure they are clear, complete, and testable.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects through resolution.
- Create test data and validate application results against requirements.
- Participate in requirements reviews, design sessions, walkthroughs, and project meetings.
- Provide testing status, risks, issues, and recommendations to project teams and management.
- Support production validation, releases, upgrades, and change-management activities.
- Maintain QA documentation, test evidence, and defect logs.
- Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, PMs, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Recommend improvements to QA processes, methodologies, tools, and automation.
- Provide guidance and support to junior QA team members.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience with DevSecOps practices and technologies.
- Experience with software testing and testing tools is a plus.
- Strong experience in QA/testing, defect management, and test documentation .
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
