Sr Manager, Program Management

IXD Organization LeaderThis leader will drive strategic initiatives, internal communications and business operations for the IXD organization. This is a highly strategic and facilitative position that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as a willingness to play an active, behind-the-scenes role. This includes identifying issues that impede business group success and provide solutions/recommendations. Problem solving: Take on key business questions and drive to recommendations and execution. This includes the ability to source and collect data, analyze or build models to interpret data, and drive to action, including the creation of materials to drive cross-functional leadership teams to make decisions. Business Measurement: You will have accountability for tracking overall goals and KPIs for the organization. Work with key partners such as ACES, AFT, Internal Communications and business peers to deliver a communications plan with a heavy focus on strategic vision, priorities, and change management. Leadership Effectiveness: Participate as a valued member of the IXD Programs leadership team and provide input to key strategic decisions. Assess meetings and decision-making forums and provide recommendations for increasing effectiveness and the appropriate sequence/cadence. Operating Cadence: Establishes and drives our operating rhythms and routines that connects the dots across the broader Operations ecosystem. You will continue to sit out of your current Fulfillment Center (FC) or site location. You will not be required to relocate. Key job responsibilities include leading a team of program managers and creating operating rhythms for the newly formed team, evaluating current state using lean techniques, Amazon tools, and data analysis, designing process improvements with systems or design thinking methodologies, contributing to and facilitating kaizen and continuous improvement events, working directly with cross-functional teams to deliver network wide improvements, working with program managers and business leaders to communicate and impact critical business initiatives, engaging other Amazon business units globally to discuss best practices, delivering executive-level verbal and written briefings weekly, and expecting to travel up to 50%, as required.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree or Advanced Degree. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
