Locum OB Hospitalist Physician:

We are seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician to provide inpatient OB Hospitalist coverage in a high-acuity obstetrical setting. This role focuses primarily on managing high-risk pregnancies with 24/7 access to Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialists for consultation and support.

Providers will deliver comprehensive obstetrical care, respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies, assist with cesarean sections and other obstetrical procedures, and provide coverage for unassigned obstetric patients when needed. Collaborative support is available from in-house OB/GYN physicians and MFM specialists.

Position Highlights:

• ASAP start with ongoing coverage.
• 24-hour in-house call shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM).
• 12-hour shifts may be accommodated based on provider preference.
• High-risk obstetrics focus with MFM support.
• Approximately 11-12 deliveries per day.
• Level II nursery.
• No resident supervision required.
• Epic EMR and electronic fetal monitoring systems utilized.
• Collaborative team environment with continuous specialist support.

Requirements:

• Board Certified OB/GYN.
• BLS certification.
• Trauma Level I or II experience required.
• Minnesota medical license preferred; IMLC accepted for providers without an active MN license.
• Open to general OB/GYN physicians interested in managing high-risk obstetric patients with full MFM support.
