Job Title

Registered Nurse – CVICU

Location

Baltimore, MD

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a mixed ICU environment with a primary focus on cardiovascular intensive care (CVICU)
• Accept and manage fresh post-operative and cardiac patients as a core expectation of the role
• Take overflow patients from other ICU areas as census and acuity require
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Complete required orientation and annual competency modules virtually as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience, with CVICU background required
• Valid Maryland RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIHSS certification required
• Current CALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience managing fresh cardiac and post-operative surgical patients in an ICU setting
• Comfort with high-acuity overflow patient populations across mixed ICU environments
