C. Harper Ford in Belle Vernon is looking for an experienced Ford Certified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our growing service team.

If you have current Ford certifications, strong diagnostic abilities and experience handling advanced mechanical and electrical repairs, we want to talk with you.

COMPENSATION

• $30 $42/hour based on experience and Ford certification level

• Up to $2,000 sign-on bonus

• $1,000 sign-on bonus payment after 90 days

• Remaining $1,000 after six months of employment

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose, maintain and repair Ford vehicles

• Perform advanced Ford mechanical and electrical diagnostics

• Diagnose engine and drivability concerns

• Diagnose and repair transmission concerns

• Service steering and suspension systems

• Diagnose and repair braking systems

• Perform electrical and electronic system diagnostics

• Work with Ford diagnostic software and specialized equipment

• Perform Ford warranty repairs according to manufacturer standards

• Complete routine maintenance and scheduled services

• Perform wheel balancing and alignment when required

• Test-drive vehicles to verify customer concerns and completed repairs

• Develop repair plans based on diagnostic findings

• Accurately document completed repairs

• Communicate with Service Advisors regarding additional repair needs

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

• Continue Ford factory training and certification development

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Ford certifications required

• Previous Ford dealership technician experience strongly preferred

• Advanced knowledge of Ford vehicle systems

• Strong electrical diagnostic abilities

• Strong engine and drivability diagnostic skills

• Diesel experience is a major plus

• Experience with Ford diagnostic software and equipment

• Ability to perform complex mechanical repairs

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Commitment to quality workmanship

• Professional and dependable attitude

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

FORD DIESEL EXPERIENCE? WE DEFINITELY WANT TO TALK.

Technicians with experience diagnosing and repairing Ford Power Stroke diesel engines are strongly encouraged to apply.

Experience with Ford trucks, Super Duty vehicles, commercial vehicles, electrical systems, advanced diagnostics and diesel repair can make you an especially strong candidate.
