Design Engineering Co-Op

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Assist Engineering teams to develop & refine design tools and best practices. Assist with the evaluation of the new product designs, modifications to existing product, and design of valve constructions for critical service applications Troubleshoot valve performance issues while completing engineering analyses in order to provide a solution to the root cause Provide engineering support to the Global Sales Offices by assisting with technical quotation details for new valve offerings Assist with the daily execution of products orders involving design modifications, application reviews, and customer interaction Collaborate with other functional groups to improve operational efficiency Who You Are: You balance planning with actions. You solicit both input and discussion. You focus on priorities and set stretch goals. For This Role, You Will Need: Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering Ability to contribute to a team environment Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Nuclear Engineering or Computer Science Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher Sophomore or higher class standing Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills Strong Computer Programing or VBA Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Our Culture & Commitment to You: At Emerson, we prioritize a workplace where every employee is valued, respected, and empowered to grow.
