Outpatient Psychiatrist Position – Assistant/Associate Professor Available Albany Medical Center is recruiting an Outpatient Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry faculty. Hours are Monday-Friday with a flexible schedule. This will be a full time outpatient position. The department includes a 26-bed acute inpatient unit, a consultation-liaison service seeing patients throughout the hospital, an outpatient psychiatry teaching clinic, an outpatient practice, and an integrated care program at multiple clinical sites. Our ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program has 28 residents and trains Albany Medical College medical and physician assistant students, as well as psychology practicum students, interns, and post-doctoral fellows. Responsibilities include: Provide direct adult hospital-based and outpatient psychiatric care Hospital and ER consultation ECT and TMS Education and supervision of psychiatry residents and medical students Research and quality improvement projects are encouraged Contribution to weekend department call schedule with additional compensation Competitive salary range: $240,000-$250,000 starting salary negotiable commensurate with academic rank and experience.
