Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $2,671 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL - RN - L&D / MC Dallas / 7P-7A We run AWHONN staffing ratios pretty much 80% of the time. Cervical ripening is 2:1, triage 3:1, stable PP mag 2:1, unstable mag or laboring mag 1:1, pit or active labor 1:1, early labor 2:1 MUST havehigh-risk, high-volume experience Must have :(candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role) High risk obstetrical bedside training, circulating in c/section in the labor and delivery area, recovering high acuity patients. Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following: Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:(RN/LVN/Tech) Intermediate AWONN fetal monitoring certificate Procedures performed on unit: Vaginal deliveries, c/sections,d&c,post deliveryrecovery care. Patient Experience Required: At least 2 years high risk labor and delivery care Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire. Scrub Color RN: Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc. Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab. Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc. Other – Unit Guidelines/Policies: Floating Guidelines: ability to float to antepartum unit within Women’s Attendance Policies: The company wide attendance policy will be followed.
