We are looking for an IT Help Desk Technician who enjoys solving problems and helping people. You will be one of the first people our clients contact when they need technical support.

What You’ll Do

• Respond to client support requests by phone, email, and ticket
• Troubleshoot issues with computers, Microsoft 365, email, printers and internet connectivity
• Provide remote support using our help desk and monitoring tools
• Set up computers, user accounts, email, software, and other equipment
• Complete employee onboarding and offboarding requests
• Manage passwords, permissions, licenses, and multifactor authentication
• Escalate more complex issues to senior technicians
• Keep tickets and client documentation complete and up to date
• Follow up with clients to make sure their issues have been resolved

What We’re Looking For

• Strong customer-service and communication skills
• Experience troubleshooting computers, Microsoft 365, and common office technology
• The ability to explain technical issues clearly to nontechnical users
• Good organization, attention to detail, and follow-through
• The ability to manage several support requests at once
• A willingness to learn and ask questions
• The judgment to know when to continue troubleshooting and when to escalate
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional client visits

Helpful Experience

You do not need to know everything on this list, but experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Microsoft 365 administration
• Windows 10 and 11
• Printers, scanners, and mobile devices
• Ticketing and remote-management tools
• Backup and security platforms
• Previous work at an MSP or IT support company
• CompTIA or Microsoft certifications
