Exciting Opportunity for an Imaging/Radiologic Technologist!

Job Description:


- Shift: 7:00am - 7:00pm, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Call Status: No Call
- Education: Graduate with ARRT Registry

General Overview:


Join our dynamic imaging team, where you will provide vital technical procedures utilizing ionizing radiation to aid in diagnosis and treatment. This role will empower you to use your independent judgment and technical skills to produce high-quality radiography.

Key Responsibilities:


- Perform CT and X-Ray examinations with precision.
- Produce radiographs by applying appropriate technical factors and evaluating each film for optimal exposure and positioning.
- Schedule exams efficiently while instructing patients on necessary preparations.
- Set up and organize rooms for various radiographic procedures to enhance workflow.

Accountability:


- Report directly to the Imaging Services Manager, ensuring the highest standards of imaging services.

- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders including employees, physicians, visitors, and patients/families.
- Adaptability to various job situations requiring independent action and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide compassionate care to patients.


- Physical:
- Flexibility to excel in ever-changing conditions.
- Manual dexterity necessary for operating equipment and maneuvering patients.
- Capability to lift and move patients with assistance, and handle equipment weighing 20 pounds or more.
- Agility required for frequent position changes, including periods of stooping, standing, and bending.
