Waterproofing Installer

Location: Columbus, OH (Open to Cincinnati, OH Lexington, KY, Louisville, KY, and Indianapolis, IN) Compensation: $25–$30/hr (DOE) + Overtime 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Training & advancement opportunities All required tools, PPE, and equipment provided Company Overview: Tiello is partnered with a leading commercial waterproofing and restoration contractor in the Mid-Atlantic region. This contractor specializes in waterproofing, below-grade systems, air/vapor barriers, coatings, sealants, and façade restoration across commercial, industrial, and large-scale entertainment facilities. Role Summary: We are seeking experienced Waterproofing Installers to join the crew on an active casino project. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience installing below-grade waterproofing systems, sealants, coatings, and air/vapor barriers. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work on fast-paced, high-visibility construction sites. Job Responsibilities: Install a variety of waterproofing systems, including membranes, hot- and cold-applied systems, sheet goods, and fluid-applied products Apply caulking, sealants, expansion joints, and traffic coatings Assist with prep work: cleaning substrates, priming surfaces, masking, and layout Read plans, details, and manufacturer specifications to ensure proper installation Work alongside foremen and superintendents to maintain schedule and quality standards Operate hand tools and equipment safely (sprayers, rollers, torches, etc.) Maintain clean and organized work areas Follow all OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols Communicate job progress, potential issues, and material needs to supervisors Support punch list and QA/QC activities as required Qualifications/Requirements: 1–3+ years of commercial waterproofing, caulking, or coatings experience preferred Experience with below-grade systems, air/vapor barriers, elastomeric coatings, or sealants Ability to read and follow drawings and manufacturer details Comfortable working outdoors in construction environments Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work at heights if needed Reliable transportation to the Norfolk jobsite Willingness to pass background/drug screening Must be eligible to work in the U.S. Must be open to traveling up to 1.5 hours between job sites Legal & EEO Language: Tiello LLC is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
