Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years PACU RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 13-week assignment
  • 36 hours guaranteed per week
  • 4x10-hour shifts: 6:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • 10-12 days of on-call per 6-week schedule period

Qualifications:

  • Current Arizona RN license
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
  • Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a PACU setting
  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
  • Flexible with floating as needed
  • Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to post-anesthesia patients, collaborating closely with surgeons and perioperative teams
  • Apply clinical judgment and nursing process in alignment with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and facility policies
  • Prioritize and delegate care based on staff competency
  • Supervise and support assigned staff in patient care activities
  • Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
