Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical (Telemetry)

Location

Cambridge, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 12-Hour Rotating Days/Nights | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting across multiple units as part of a float pool
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in alignment with unit protocols and standards
• Participate in weekly unit orientations as required for float pool placement
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN experience
• Strong telemetry skills required; candidate will float across multiple units
• EPIC experience required
• All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application; no more than three days of requested time off will be considered, and holiday time-off requests will not be approved
• Local candidates are welcome

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit environment
• Familiarity with high-acuity Medical-Surgical patient populations
• Strong adaptability and ability to quickly orient to new unit environments
