Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.**Position Overview**As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead JLL’s owner’s representative work on assigned scopes within a large scale, long-duration federal development program in the Virginia Beach area.**What your day-to-day will look like*** Lead JLL’s owner’s representative role on assigned scopes, holding the vendor accountable to schedule, budget, and quality.* Own change order review and approval workflows, adjudicating contested items with the vendor.* Coordinate with the vendor’s project management staff across construction phases.* Interface with client stakeholders on program status, risks, and issue resolution.* Prepare and deliver briefings to client leadership.* Mentor Project Managers on the team and support their professional development.* Contribute to program-level cost, schedule, and risk reporting to JLL leadership and the client.**Required qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.* Minimum 7 years of construction project management experience, including ground-up construction.* Direct NAVFAC project experience or extensive Department of Defense construction background.* Multi-family residential development experience in a developer or owner’s representative role.* Demonstrated experience managing vendors on programs of comparable scale.* Change order review and approval experience on complex construction contracts.* Ability to brief and interact with military leadership at the base command level and above.* Willingness to work onsite in the Virginia Beach area five days per week.**Preferred qualifications*** PMP certification.* Master’s degree in a related field.* Prior experience with Public-Private Venture (PPV) military housing programs or student housing privatization initiatives.* Team leadership experience with direct reports.* DoD SkillBridge or Military Transition Program (MTP) participants with relevant senior project management experience are encouraged to apply.**JLL empowers you to shape a brighter way.**Our people at JLL and JLL Technologies are shaping the future of real estate for a better world by combining world class services, advisory and technology for our clients.
