Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs
• Document patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
• Collaborate with the therapy team to maximize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia (or compact eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• CPR certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred

Education

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of rehabilitative techniques and therapeutic modalities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in documentation and electronic medical records
