Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (OR – Labor & Delivery)

Location: Englewood, NJ
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks (August 3, 2026 – November 2, 2026)
Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Position Type: Travel

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Labor & Delivery Operating Room experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a respected New Jersey hospital. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative surgical team providing exceptional care in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment.

Must Have

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification (Required)
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery Surgical Tech experience
Current BLS Certification
Strong knowledge of sterile technique, surgical instrumentation, and obstetrical procedures
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery OR

Nice to Have

Previous travel assignment experience
Experience assisting with C-sections and emergency obstetrical procedures
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience with electronic documentation systems

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile fields for Labor & Delivery surgical procedures
Assist surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff during cesarean sections and other obstetrical surgeries
Ensure surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and functioning properly
Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection prevention standards
Anticipate surgical team needs while supporting efficient workflow throughout procedures
