SERVICE MANAGER / DIRECTOR

Premier Top-Tier High Volume Automotive Dealership in NE Atlanta About the Opportunity We are a leading, high-volume automotive dealership in the Metro Atlanta area seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager / Director to lead our service department. This is a search for a top performer who can drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and profitability in a premium environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the service department, ensuring efficient workflow and high productivity. Hire, train, motivate, and manage service advisors, technicians, and support staff. Develop and manage the department budget, controlling costs while maximizing profitability. Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction scores through proactive issue resolution and relationship building. Ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty standards, safety protocols, and dealership policies. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, retention, and efficiency metrics. Collaborate with sales and parts departments to optimize overall dealership performance. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in automotive service management, preferably in a high-volume luxury or premium brand dealership. Proven track record of achieving service department sales and profitability goals. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff. Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency with dealership management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite. ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training preferred. Bachelor’s degree in business, automotive technology, or a related field preferred but not required.
