Contract & Pathology Services Specialist (HYBRID - BURLINGTON , NC)

Join us in our mission to improve health and advance lives. Hybrid Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET with three in‑office days in Burlington, NC and two remote workdays per week. Job Responsibilities Contract Management & Administration: Draft, review, and negotiate standard pathology services contracts; manage contract lifecycle activities including execution, tracking, and compliance; review contract redlines and escalate deviations; secure contract signatures and distribute agreements. Pathology Services & Stakeholder Support: Serve as liaison between Labcorp and contracted pathologists; address inquiries related to contracts, payments, and credentialing. Legal & Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Partner with the Law Department for contract review and interpretation; coordinate with internal teams on contract requirements. Bid & Proposal Support: Assist in RFP/RFQ responses as related to pathology. Operations & Issue Resolution: Research and resolve issues using internal systems; participate in due diligence and improvement initiatives. Job Standards Professional communication and customer service. Ability to manage priorities and work independently. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Microsoft Office experience. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications High school diploma with 2 or more years of experience in contract management or documentation. 1 year or more of contract lifecycle or compliance support. Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of healthcare or clinical lab experience. 1+ year of CPT coding or billing systems experience. 1+ year of RFP/RFQ support. 1+ year of CLM systems experience. Relevant certification (CPC, CBCS, CCCM, CFCM).
