Laboratory Customer Services Administrator

Alfred H Knight has an opportunity for a Laboratory Customer Services Administrator to join our Laboratory team based in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The Laboratory Customer Services Administrator is responsible for coordinating with internal and external customers to ensure that instructions are documented accurately, customer expectations are maintained, all samples are referenced, and data is entered in a manner that reflects the highest standard of quality.

Hours: Full Time / 40 hours per week / Monday-Friday
Location: Spartanburg, South Carolina, USA

RESPONSIBILITIES

On completion of a thorough induction and training process, you will be competent in the following tasks, not all of which you will be expected to carry out simultaneously: 

• Receiving and sorting incoming packages.
• Organizing and prioritizing sample entry tasks. 
• Data entry of incoming samples into Laboratory information management system.
• Communicating with customers, at various stages of the analytical process.
• Coordinate and communicate with other AHK locations. 
• Communicating with Customers to determine analytical needs or to obtain information required to ensure that correct information is received for the Laboratory.
• Create and communicate customer quotations for submitted samples.
• Creation and communication of Certificate of Analysis and Invoices.
• Management of sample archives and sample returns.
• Previous experience in a customer service or office administration role preferred.

Required Work Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service or office administration role preferred

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma (minimum)
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and Google Suite applications
