Job Summary:
The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) profession in Evansville, Indiana, is seeking qualified healthcare professionals to provide specialized care for patients with complex medical, neurological, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and renal conditions. The role involves caring for a diverse patient population, including those with sepsis, trauma, and surgical needs, outside of fresh open heart surgery, in a 24-bed unit. The position offers an opportunity to work with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3.

• Shift Schedule: Days shift with 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid certifications, applicable education and degree requirements, and at least 0 years of experience in a clinical setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Additional certifications or clinical experience related to intensive care nursing.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role involves providing care for a complex patient population across various acuity levels, managing a patient load of 1 to 3 patients, and adhering to hospital protocols and standards of care.
