Key Qualifications:
- Active Michigan School Psychologist certification required
- Previous experience in school settings preferred
- Strong skills in conducting and interpreting assessments
- Effective communication with students, staff, and families
- Familiarity with MTSS and RTI frameworks is highly valued
- Ability to work flexibly in an itinerant capacity across assigned locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for elementary students
- Participate as a key member of building support teams, contributing your expertise to collaborative problem-solving
- Serve actively on the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) team
- Consult with administrators, parents, and teachers, providing data-driven recommendations and insights
- Interprete assessment data, translate findings, and communicate results to educational teams and families
- Prepare detailed, actionable written reports to support student interventions and programming
In addition to a competitive compensation ranging from $55/hr to $62/hr, eligible candidates may access healthcare benefits, as well as housing and meals/incidentals support for the duration of the contract.
