Exciting opportunities are available for two dedicated Special Education Teachers to make a meaningful impact at a highly supportive campus located on Nellis Air Force Base near North Las Vegas, NV. These full-time contract roles run through May 31, 2027, serving either elementary or middle school instructional needs. The positions are based in self-contained classrooms, each designed for a maximum of 13 students—primarily those with Autism or complex needs—supported by multiple paraprofessionals to ensure a collaborative and well-resourced environment.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Nevada Special Education Teaching License (required)
• Experience working with students with Autism and high-needs populations preferred
• Skills in classroom management, differentiation, and individualized instruction
• Ability to work collaboratively with paraprofessional staff
• Strong communication, empathy, and adaptability

What you’ll do:

• Lead a self-contained classroom with a manageable caseload, ensuring personalized instruction and support for each student
• Work closely with multiple paraprofessionals and aides to foster a safe, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Implement evidence-based strategies to address the unique learning needs of your students
• Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and families to ensure student growth and success
• Participate in professional development and ongoing staff support initiatives
• Support your students as they attend specials classes with assigned aides
