UNC REX Hospital in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join their team. - Based in Raleigh, NC, at UNC REX Hospital
- Part of UNC REX Healthcare, which includes an acute care hospital, emergency care, urgent care centers, wound healing, five wellness centers, and two skilled nursing facilities
- Facility has treatment centers dedicated to surgical services; women’s care; pain management; sleep disorders; neurology; and cancer, heart, and vascular care
- Anesthesiologists and anesthetists work in an anesthesia care team approach
Responsibilities
- Handle case assignments including Cardiac, pediatrics, OBGYN, general, plastics, urology, and vascular
- Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
- Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
- Conduct pre-anesthesia assessment
- Obtain and/or verify patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient
- Perform induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitor the patient's physiological condition and perform clinical intervention as needed
Compensation
- Salary: $425,000
- Sign On Incentives including Loan Repayment and Training Assistance options: $30,000
- Sign on Incentive: $30,000 sign-on bonus

- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
