Overview Excellent opportunity for a Physician Assistant in Cardiothoracic Surgery to join a dynamic team in Portsmouth, VA. This role offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, with training provided and the option to transition to a permanent position.
Practice Highlights

• Reason for coverage: Short-staffed
• Practice Type: 100% Adult
• Inpatient: 75% | Outpatient: 25%
• Weekend Rounds: Yes (5-10 patients per day)
• Training Provided - support available for onboarding
• EMR System: Epic
• Hospital Privileges Required

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible - REQUIRED
• Relevant Training/Experience - REQUIRED
• Active Virginia License - REQUIRED
• Active DEA - REQUIRED

Schedule & Coverage

• Start Date: ASAP
• Minimum Commitment: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation
• Credentialing Timeline: 90-120 days
