Job Summary
Lake Sherwood Village is seeking a reliable and motivated Line / Production Cook to join our kitchen team. This position is responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our residents in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and works efficiently during service.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
- Assist with daily food prep and production
- Be responsible for food production for approximately 130 residents for breakfast and lunch on a rotating every-other-week schedule
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Work efficiently during meal service to ensure timely delivery
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and food storage
- Support kitchen team and communicate effectively with staff
Qualifications
- Previous cooking or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
