Warehouse Record Center Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Warehouse Record Center Specialist. This role involves the physical handling of storage materials, including boxes, bins, and totes, which may weigh between 24+ lbs. The position requires frequent kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Move, arrange, lift, and load storage boxes, bins, and totes manually and using hand carts.
• Process orders and handle boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely on various surfaces.
• Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine box locations.
• Operate handheld scanners and climb ladders as necessary.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
• Load boxes onto pallets and pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English.
• Experience with material handling equipment such as hand carts and pallet jacks.
• Protective footwear meeting ASTM F2413-11 standards is required, with a slip-resistant rating of "Better" or "Best".

Work Schedule

Normal work schedule consists of 5 days a week, 9 hours a day, including a 30-minute lunch and two 15-minute breaks.

This position does not require the worker to be a US Person to meet ITAR regulations, does not require Public Trust Clearance, and a BI Exception applies. The position does not have potential to be Temp to Perm and is not related to a building move.
