Residential New Construction HVAC Install Manager

Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems | Traverse City, MI

Full-Time | $80,000-$110,000 Base Salary + Performance Bonus

Precision Plumbing and Heating Systems is seeking an experienced Residential New Construction HVAC Install Manager to lead residential new-construction HVAC operations throughout Northwest Michigan. This position is responsible for overseeing multiple projects, coordinating field teams, managing builder relationships, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring every installation is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Oversee residential HVAC new construction projects from planning through completion
• Develop and manage project schedules to ensure timely completion
• Coordinate with builders, homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
• Review blueprints, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents
• Monitor labor utilization, job costs, budgets, and project profitability
• Conduct jobsite visits to verify installation quality, safety compliance, and project progress
• Support field personnel with scheduling, problem solving, and resource allocation
• Maintain strong builder and customer relationships throughout the construction process
• Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact timelines or budgets
• Ensure projects meet company quality standards and customer expectations

Qualifications

• Previous construction project management experience required
• Residential HVAC installation management or leadership experience is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and HVAC systems
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, labor resources, and project timelines
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with builders, customers, and field personnel
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar construction management software preferred
• Degree in construction management, project management, or equivalent field experience preferred
• Adaptable and solution-oriented mindset in a changing construction environment

Compensation and Benefits

• $80,000-$110,000 annual base salary
